Description
UASI is hiring Inpatient Coders. Our Inpatient Coders will work remotely; coding inpatient charts for UASI client hospital organizations. Our ideal candidate is flexible, detail and quality-oriented, with the ability to work independently and adapt well to change. Applicants must have recent experience coding a broad range of complex inpatient charts for a large short-term acute care hospital. Additional requirements include:
- CCS certification
- RHIT or RHIA will be considered
- 4+ years of experience coding a variety of inpatient records
- Experience coding for a Level 1 Trauma hospital and/or Teaching facility required
- Coder must have experience coding highly complex cases typical of a trauma facility including burns, NICU, organ transplants, long-stays, etc.
- The ability to provide a secure work environment is a must
