I am a registered nurse with many years of nursing experience. I also have my CPC and medical coding background.  I have worked in the HCC Risk Adjustment area for 9 years.  I worked as a medical coder in retrospective and prospective HCC Risk Adjustment for 6 years and as a QA Auditor in HCC Risk Adjustment for 3 years as well.  I have some HEDIS abstraction experience also.   I have experience in training coders and education to providers with documentation improvement feedback.  I also was a Anatomy and Physiology  teacher part time at school for coding.   I am a team player and enjoy challenges.

I am planning on pursuing and taking the CRC certification exam asap.
