Coordinate and implement procedures to collect data from patient charts, medical records, interviews, questionnaires, diagnostic tests, and other sources; administer informed consent process; collect and prepare blood and urine samples for shipment, and laboratory analysis; perform ECGs; maintain drug/device receiving and dispensing accountability. Complete data entry into case report forms or pre-established computer programmed formats, ensuring appropriate source documentation, and resolve data queries. Ensure compliance with protocol guidelines and requirements of regulatory agencies; identify problems and/or inconsistencies; monitor patients’ progress to include documentation and reporting of adverse events; recommend corrective action as appropriate.
