I am a highly motivated person who enjoys all aspects of working with medical data.  I am a certified coder, instructor and medical auditor.  I’ve worked with several EHR systems and Midas to conduct coding and/or chart reviews as well as to function as a claims analyst detecting potential fraud, waste and abuse.  I have collected CMS’s quality core measure data and lead several remote teams of abstractors who collected this data for multiple facilities.  I currently work as the encounter data validation (EDV) and Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) subject matter expert for an External Quality Review Organization (EQRO) that holds contracts with three states to provide oversight of their managed care organizations and providers.
