I am an accomplished, educated professional seeking a position and new career that will challenge me on a daily basis, and allow for personal growth and career development. My education and certification as a Professional Medical Coder as well as my passion for learning and dynamic work ethic will ensure you that I am dedicated to earning a long-time position as a medical coder/biller. I passed the AAPC certification exam the first time through and also completed the Certified Billing Course in which I am scheduled to take that exam in November 2021. In addition, I am currently enrolled in the AAPC Practicum course coding 300 real physician’s reports which will be the equivalent of 1 years experience as a coder. I am extremely well organized and focused working independently and with others. I have worked in the clinical care system before managing homes for developmentally disabled and medically fragile children so I am familiar with medications, physical therapies and other medically related care. I have taken college courses in medical terminology, anatomy, phsysiology, and biology. I am also proficient in Microsoft off programs; Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
