I am applying for the position of medical billing / medical coding.

With my current work experience, I fulfill the requirements of the position and can contribute immediately to the goals of your company. The following are highlights of my qualifications:

·       I have been working at Spectrum Pediatrics for over 11 years, as the office manager and handling medical billing. I provide good communications and customer service for pediatric patients and parents. Also, I provide training for new employees.

·       I have eight years of medical billing experience. I understand and review EOBs (Explanation of Benefit), and I have the ability to communicate with insurance companies to troubleshoot EOB and resolve denied medical claims. I understand the coding and processing of pediatric claims to include patient’s preventive medical service with immunization administration coding, and sick-visit coding.

·       I was certified as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) in Nov. 2020, by AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders).  In addition, I have completed the courses of Terminology and Anatomy.

·       Also, I have successfully completed AAPC Practicode program which covers 600 real-world medical records including actual Inpatient and Outpatient medical coding for Emergency Department, Cardiology, Clinic Office, and Operative Reports. It has allowed me to gain real coding experience.
