I recently passed the exam to be a CPC with AAPC.  I have 13 years combined experience working in 3 chiropractic offices.  I started with running everything from new patients, scheduling, insurance verification, submitting claims, A/R on insurance and patient payments and patient billing.  I also have 26 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist in Pennsylvania so I do have an extensive knowledge base of medical terminology and anatomy & physiology.  I  need to change to coding due to the physical demands of my current job as a licensed massage therapist.
