Summary
Come be a part of our Clinical Auditing Team at Humana. Our Medical Coding Auditor associates proactively assess changes in the regulatory environment; research, investigate and respond to issues related to documentation, coding, and billing. They serve as experts in coding auditing, coding and documentation improvement education.
Where you Come In
Perform an audit on inpatient medical records for compliance with ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting
Maintains strict patient and physician confidentiality and follows all federal, state and hospital guidelines for release of information

Required Qualifications – What it takes to Succeed
2+ yrs. acute in-patient auditing experience
One of the following certifications required: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS
Coding technical knowledge with ICD-10
Hospital coding or auditing with DRG
Ability to travel 10% of the year for: training, team meetings or onsite audits opportunities
